macks 4 months

I’m about a week late on this update, but with the move and having to go back to the city for his well check up this week, everything is late. 😉

We are smack dab in the middle of the four month sleep regression which is horrible timing with this move. I sleep trained Avery right at four months with no problem, but I don’t think Macks is ready for it quite yet. He’s never slept through the night and it still sleeping with us in our bed. It might be part emotional on my part to delay the sleep training, but I’m okay with him waking up right now and sleeping with us for just a little bit longer.

Macks learned so much this month. He’s rolling over from his back to his stomach, his hands are always in his mouth, he’s grabbing everything in sight so that he can bring them to his mouth, and he also found that his feet are very fun to play with. He is still a big talker and loves to laugh. His least favorite thing at the moment is his car seat and the car. It’s so heartbreaking to hear him scream as soon as I put him in, but with our new suburban lifestyle, he’s just got to get used to it.

Macks is in the 50th percentile for weight this month and still in the 75th for both height and head. He is still wearing 6-12 month clothing and is growing like a weed. It’s so crazy to see how much bigger he is at this age than the girls were.

His eczema is much better this month. I’ve cut dairy out of my diet and am using lotion from MD Moms and both of those in combination seem to be working. He will have a little bit of flare ups every once in a while, but for the most part his skin looks great!

Although its only been a week, Macks is adjusting to our new suburban life. He loves being outside and watching his sisters play in the backyard. I’m hoping in this next month we can get his nursery ready for him so that he can move out of our room and into his own!

{Month One :: Month Two :: Month Three}
