Earlier this week I took a trip to the west coast to attend the premiere of the new Disney film, Frozen (a must see this holiday season.) As the mom of two girls  and having a sister myself, I couldn’t wait to see the film that shows the power of a sisterly bond.

You all know I love any excuse to dress up and the Disney Frozen red carpet premiere was the perfect time to do so. Inspired by the characters in the film, I decided to wear blue, one of my favorite colors to wear. Finding a dress at 7 months pregnant isn’t an easy task, especially when I had a specific color in mind. But thankfully Hatch Collection, my favorite brand to go to for stylish maternity clothes had the perfect dress to show off my bump.

Sorry for the abundance of “mirror selfies” as my dad likes to call them, but it was the only way I could really get a good shot of the dress at the time.

The red carpet was turned into a winter wonderland for the premiere. Complete with real snow, ice sculptures, and a snowman.

I was reminded even more of how much I loved the dress once we hit the red carpet. All of the blue Frozen signs complemented the dress and I felt like an ice princess.

The red carpet was filled with celebrities and their children that were so excited to see the film, but my favorite sighting was when I saw the stars of Jesse and A.N.T. Farm on the Disney Channel. Harlan is beyond obsessed with those shows and I knew she would appreciate a little sneak camera action to see her favorites. Does that make me officially a mom now that I am excited about my children’s favorite celebs over my own? 😉

The night could not have been more magical and the movie was unlike anything I have seen out of Disney. I cannot wait to bring Harlan and my own sister on Thanksgiving day to see Frozen.
